The Consensus is:

WSOP: Christina's doin it rong.

I've gone at every time of day and night and can't seem to make very much money. A gal was checking out as I was checking in this morning, and granted she was there for ELEVEN hours (which I refuse to do), but she grossed $980! She gets half of that and the (I'm sure) copious tips she received.
I'm still convinced it's familiarity. The therapists who've been working the WSOP year after year are getting the most business. That makes perfect sense, but it doesn't exactly help me.

Oh, well. I'll keep plugging away and maybe I'll get lucky. I'd sure like to justify the fatigue I'm feeling by having a fat wallet!

Don't give up hon! You look so hot now I don't see how those guys can deny you getting your hands all over them!

Thanks, Blondie! These folks (both men and women) are serious, though. The only time they worry about what their therapist looks like is when the cameras are around!

A lot of it involves luck, being in the right place at the right time. I'll get there!

I've been there - thinking I was about to make a sale and things went utterly south for no apparent reason. I do know "who persists, wins," but on the other paw, you're putting in a large number of hours. I'd say if you're feeling discouraged, put your time and energy into the venues where you feel confident of seeing a return on your efforts. You may need to establish yourself with WSOP, but if you're not feeling it and you're not enjoying it, then you need to follow your instincts on this one. I hope you have a great sunday today!

Maybe this all part of a dues-paying exercise. OTOH (or paw), Phlegmmy DOES have a point. In any event... you're The Decider here and ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

Good luck, either way.

Phlegmmy and Buck, you both have definitely given me much to think about. By the time I get home from my full-time job, I'm already tired. The thought of changing and going to WSOP for hours of aimlessly (and fruitlessly!) walking around holds absolutely no appeal. I think I have to stick to going on my nights off. I only know that I have to have at least one successful night, or I'll feel like a total LOSER. Can't help it, Folks. That's just how I'm wired. *sigh*
