We were learning it (I was glossing over then swiftly forgetting it). This and photosynthesis (okay and my serious procrastination / laziness) are what gave me a D in AP Bio (weighted i think)...
Before I even saw the title of the post I recognized the picture as the Krebs Cycle. That was the hardest thing to learn in A&P and it remains in the background, but I'm always cognizant of it to some degree.

I thought that was the chart the JAL crew schedulers use to plan out circadian rhythms.
You must learn the Fate of Pyruvate!
LOL- it only gets better :-)
You're lucky. You don't have to know the enzyme names that do all of this.
Once you learn how to ride a krebcycle you never forget.
That little circle on top isn't there for a guy's cycle...
Oh ya you do forget... pretty much right after you take the test..... lol..
nearly 20 years after taking a&p I know the Krebs cycle exists but twitch helplessly if i try to remember any of it lol

My first thought is it was the Maynard G. Krebs cycle. Something about which I didn't care to know. Remember, the G. is silent, and stands for Walter.
I just got done learning this shit. Ugh - I hate it too!

Release the ATP!
Heh, did you get into "metabolic channeling" to explain the chirality of molecules going through the Kreb's Cycle?
Cause that is utterly fascinating right there.
