So, as you all know, I quit drinking soda on February 27th (woo-hoo, two months!). This past Wednesday, I decided to also quit all caffeine consumption. It's been four full days, and I don't think I'm going to die.
Yay, me.
Time for bed, g'night!

I would try to do that, but with the celiac's making me give up grains, caffine is all I got left!

Good for you to try. I did try giving up coffee, felt like hell for about 3 days. . then. . . didn't feel any better before I quit. When I quit drinking diet soda (a couple cans a day), I felt a LOT better and my complexion looked 100% better after a couple of months.

I'm very sensitive to caffeine, and even one cup (or two!) a day was affecting my sleep. I'm already sleeping better (deeper, and less restlessly), not to mention going to bed earlier, so, to me, it's worth the not-quite-fully-energized feeling.

My coworker gave up coffee for Lent... well, about 2 days of it before he cracked... I could take it or leave it myself, I pretty much just drink it at work and don't miss it when I'm home.

as a mormon, i don't have caffene, never had it, never missed it, also tea, coffee, colas, i drink hot choc, fruit juices, karo, and water, yes good old water

I pretty much only drink water now, occasionally I'll have some diet green tea, but even green tea, unfortunately, has caffeine in it. Which I didn't find out until too late! True herbal tea, like rose-hip or mint tea, does not have any caffeine, plus it tastes really good!
