One thing you definitely don't want to hear...

after you ask your client how he's doing today (and he's already on the table), "Hungover!"

Crap.

Yeah. He wasn't so bad, but I had a client almost no-show, since she was "ill", but when reminded that she'd be charged for the service, since we have a four-hour cancellation policy, she showed up late, instead.

Pasty, green-tinged skin. Rancid alcohol fumes oozing from her pores. Unwashed, uncombed hair.

Not the most fun massage I've ever given.

Since she was late, it was just a half-hour, so it wasn't as awful as it could have been...at least she didn't puke!

Yeah, that's about what you'd hear from me. Well after the whole "happy ending" discussion thing! LOL

After a "happy ending" discussion, you'd get the old heave-ho!

Hey, I wanna keep my license, ya know!

I had no idea it was a no noto go for a massage hung over.

Is it still bad even if the client showers up?

Cuz I gotta tell you, if I'm in Vegas most mornings when getting a massage I'd be hung over.

It's likely to make you feel worse, Joey.
We've had clients pass out or puke before.
Everybody is different, of course, but as a rule of thumb, I'd suggest if you are hungover and feel miserable, a massage will likely make you feel even worse, unless it's a scalp and neck massage, etc. DEFINITELY no deep tissue massage!
