San Francisco, too. I've never been a big fan of public transport until I lived there and took BART into The City every day. I seriously thought about building an altar to BART in a corner of my living room on those rare, rare occasions I actually DID drive into The City.
But the drivin' is GOOD now, which is to say out here in the wilderness... it's an 80 mph sorta life... everywhere except in town.

Probably because the average motorist seems to take leave of their senses and common courtesy.

Sure, rub it in, Buck! Someday, I'll be where there are wide open spaces and I can drive like a bat outta hell. REALLY looking forward to it.
I got used to public transpo in Berlin, Germany...didn't get my driver's license until I was 23!
