My first service of the day was a 50 minute hot stone massage bright and early at 8:00 AM. The client had never had a hot stone massage before, so I asked her about sensitivity to heat and whether she had any artificial joints. I asked because, believe it or not, the stones are so hot they have been known to melt some of the components of artificial joints...
Client: Nope, don't have any artificial joints.
Me: That's good, because the hot stones could melt them.
C: *gasp* Will they melt my breast implants?!!
Me: *blink blink* Don't worry...I won't be going anywhere near your breasts!
C: *heaves huge sigh of relief*

So how huge was that huge sign of relief? LOL Was it relative to her implant size?
Melt the implants? Holy sneikies! (said in best chris farley voice)
Ahh, gotta love the plastic surgeons and all they do...
Chuck - Nope! She was fifty and had very natural looking(i.e. NOT huge) implants. As a matter of fact, had she not told me they were fake, I'd never have suspected.
What's even funnier is that we got to talking about plastic surgery, implants versus breast lift, etc., and at the end of the massage, she offered to show me hers (g)! I had to regretfully decline.
LOL!!!!! I almost fell out my chair laughing so hard! My friend was like what's so funny? So I had to tell her!! We were cracking up!!
G'day from Australia,
Came here from Fat Hairy Bastard's blog - and I'm so glad I did!
This post made me laugh ....
har har! Good thing for her they don't make a Lee Press-on Brain.
Welcome, David and Bent!
I love seeing new folks comment, since I'm a total comment whore.
Thank you for sustaining me.
Phlegm - Lee Press-on Brain?
I love it!
Hi there, I have wandered over here from David's blog as he has linked to your post - great story, and a hot stone massage sounds lovely - I am having a back massage this afternoon, but minus the stones!
Welcome, Mima!
ANY massage is of course lovely and beneficial, but hot stone massage just has that little extra...:)
That is very funny!
Found you through David's blog.
I never really got into the rock massage thing...but a good old hard massage is always nice :)

Hey, Bradley! Yeah, some people dig it, some people don't. I don't mind doing the hot stone massage, it's almost like getting to play with toys, but the stones are a barrier in a way, as a therapist you don't get that hands-on feeling like you would if giving a Swedish or deep tissue massage.
