Well, I 'tried' to comment, but for some reason it thinks my email is invalid... What I was going to say was- Actually, you're smart to go the way you are. When you start playing the gender card (which it appears the others are doing), that NEVER ends well in the long run.

Libertyman, if a private educational organization (prep school, college) takes in no federal funds, zip, zero, zilch, then they can remain all boy, all girl, or all something else.
I was once invited to join an all-too-well-known women's professional organization. That group shows such lousy institutional judgment that I have no desire to be in the same zipcode with it, no matter if it is for men, women, geldings, spayed cats, or space aliens.

I have always wondered why Wellesley College can still discriminate based on gender and get away with it.
