after the massage:
"Wow, that's the best massage I've had since I was in Southeast Asia! Yeah, for the equivalent of $2.50, you'd get acupuncture, a massage, and a happy ending...hey, I was 23 and a hotshot Navy pilot, whadda ya gonna do?"
(nothing except stifle my laughter ;))

Well, back in the 'day' that was a true statement... Just sayin... LOL
Heh, somehow I *knew* you'd have something to add to this discussion, Old NFO...I was just waiting for it, lol. :D
$2.50 acupuncture....
Pass.

I sprung for a two hour massage yesterday, after travel and long hours this week I needed it.
My therapist and don't really talk much during the session but I commented on her skin, as she had dealt with bad acne (into middle age) and it had cleared up wonderfully. She talked about taking accutane long ago for it and how she had to promise not to get pregnant while on it and HAD to take birth control because of the nasty things it could do.
I countered with, "are you saying Rosemary's Baby was really the outcome of Accutane? Took us both a minute to quit laughing. No one under 40 would get it, but we did.
I can't vouch for the acupuncture, or the "happy ending", but I do know that when I was in Thailand, about thirty years ago, I got one of the most marvelous massages of my life for the equivalent of about $1.25 American.
A thai massage is now up to about $7, or at least it was last time I was there, in 2010.
I came to comments wondering what Old NFO would say and I wasn't disappointed!
Nice work, if you can get it! Er, services, I mean! :)
