So...

took my first exam, and it was HARD. So very, very hard. Well, I usually do well on these multiple choice thingies, so we'll see. I'll find out my grade next Tuesday.

BUT, I triumphed in lab today! You know you have no life when the high point of your day (so far) is having your lab instructor look through your microscope at your slide of Mycobacterium smegmatis (did acid-fast testing tonight) and declare, "Beautiful!"

LOL!

Did we really have any doubt. You're brilliant AND beautiful.

Congratulations.

Thank you so much, Brigid! If I'm a fraction as smart as you, I'll be happy. :D

Congratulations! Acid-fast staining is notoriously difficult to get right.

A side note- Hopkins/Daley is growing like a weed. He's getting really good at stalking and tackling Murphy and Taylor when they're not looking. He's even run Sadie (this Siberian) away from her food bowl, which is nigh unbelievable.

Hah!
Pipsqueak and Bruiser are also very bold, and have no trouble launching ambushes on the dogs. It's so funny to watch them!

I'm glad to know Hopkins found such a good home. :)
