I'm finally getting the hang of it!

Microscopy, that is. :D

Last night, in microbiology lab, I Gram stained and located (in FOCUS!) three critters:

Mycobacterium smegmatis

Staphylococcus aureus

Escherichia coli

w00t!

The E. coli took me about thirty seconds to find. I'm so happy!

In other news, it's hilarious watching my dogs play tag outside, especially since I'm "base".

Oh, and in other, OTHER news, I had a fantastic workout yesterday and did (among other things) 135 crunches. GO, ME!

Shannon, *squeeeeeee*! ;)

Thanks, SCI-FI!

Now if I could magically absorb all the chemistry knowledge I'm supposed to have in my noggin for my exams next week...

How did you have the wherewithal to count and endure pain?

Oh, the crunches? I don't know. I do know that I'm fucking SORE today.
And I do sets of fifteen, so that makes it easy to count.

Yay for crunches!!

. . . and I *know* I read the Lloyd Alexander Chronicles of Prydain way too often, but "crunches" just make me think of crunches and munches. Nom nom nom :)

Lissa, I haven't read those books in far too long! What great stories.

Miz Minka, indeed you did! Thank you. :)
