I know how you feel. Really. In my own recent attempts to quit smoking, I've run up against the "can't concentrate" feelings often. I've limited my intake to about 1/4 of my usual cigarettes, but getting past that is a real battle. Good luck!
Jim, you're doing a fantastic job. Trust me on this. I don't think there's much out there that's more addictive than nicotine. I saw my mother struggle and fail to overcome her addiction. She died from lung cancer at 53. So, my hat's off to you, Sir! Keep it up. :)

Well great. Now I know what song will be going through my head for the rest of the day. :)
Lissa beat me to it.
k d lang is playing in my head...
And re: the temptation of caffeine -- Don't do it! "Fake Awake" and all that!
OK, maybe just tea.
Or half-caf.
Or --
Hey, if I can do it so can you!
Stay strong.
Of course you could just substitute beer (or whiskey) for coffee
Lissa and SCI-FI, glad to be of service! ;)
SF, I'm trying my best, and will really only "use" on my school days/nights. Otherwise I'm just a wreck and can't function. *sigh*
Mike W., you're young. I'm not. :P
And ironically enough, if I drink a ton of coffee, being overly caffeinated makes me feel/act like I'm drunk!
Oh, and thanks Y'all, for making me aware that I misspelled Ms. lang's name. Gonna go fix that now...
Eh, I will say that the 1st few weeks without caffeine in the morning sucked BAD. It got easier after that.
It's probably quite a bit easier than doing the whole 40 Days, 40 Nights thing.
that picture makes me have a craving for chocolate covered coffee beans
NOM!

Shannon, EVIL!
Heh. I'm with Shannon. Two Venti house blends, please!
Actually, I'm on my last cup of 100% Columbian, as we speak. "A pot a day, every day."
Coffee is good, at least for me but I do understand your problem... :-)
