Incentive!

I had forgotten one of the biggest perks of working out at the gym I patronize...EYE CANDY!! Somehow it makes all the sweating and straining easier when you have something (or someone) to ogle. Discreetly, naturally. ;)

I ogle openly.

If they weren't willing to be looked at they wouldn't be reflecting light into my eyeballs.

Bullshit. I don't waste time in gyms.

LOL- anonymous ogling is cheating... now when you're tripping over your tongue ogling ;-)

that is the best. Almost makes up for the people that think they have a right to spandex. Almost.

i'm assuming it's a co-ed gym :) ...

i was in an 'all female' gym for about 18months ... doesn't quite provide the same incentive ...

Shameless hussy. :D

But, I love you anyway.

Hahahahahahaha - still firefighters or is it a new group?

Hell I ogle at work, but then I'm the youngest employee in the entire office by several years.

Plus I think the more attractive late 30's early 40's women at my office like to be ogled. I'll oblige them, it's the gentlemenly thing to do.

LOL! See, but I'm a LADY. And ladies are required to be discreet in their ogling. And if you believe THAT, I have a bridge for sale to you...really cheap!

Dick, not everyone has such a fantastic, body-sculpting occupation such as yours! We need some extra help.

Old NFO, I try to keep my tongue firmly inside my mouth. Don't want to start a riot!

Jennifer, there was NO spandex, on either gender! Thank the heavens!

Yes, it's a co-ed gym, Julie...and it was indeed the off-duty firefighters, among other delectable sights. :D
One gentleman had the loveliest hair, all braided down his back. I begin to understand why most men like long hair on women, 'cause all I could think of was, "Hmmm, what a convenient handle!"

I'm a shameless hussy? SCORE!!!

Mike, I like the way you think! Yes, you almost have an obligation to ogle, no? I certainly would appreciate it! :D

I work out on my front porch - the dogs ogle me...does that count?

Christina RN LMT said...

*sigh*
I don't think it has quite the same effect re: motivation or incentive, Shannon. But kudos for you for having the determination to work out by your lonesome!

Being 30 miles away from the closest gym helps! Keep up the good work..and at least eye candy doesn't have any calories!

Good point!

You ladies can ogle discreetly. Certain parts of the male anatomy can sometimes make that *ahem* harder.

Days like today I'm in my boss's office and in my head I'm screaming "eyes up! eyes up!" Ditto for when she's walking in front of me.

Ah, the joys of summer and a fairly liberal dress code for a law office.

Christina RN LMT said...

Mike, another good point. ;)

I take my glasses off. I get too distracted.

Christina RN LMT said...

LOL! That doesn't seem to be an issue with me. Distraction is desirable while working out, as far as I'm concerned, since I hate every second of it...

OH MY GOD I NEED BRAIN BLEACH.

Thanks a LOT, Mom.

LOL, you're very welcome, Honey! :D

Isn't that cute?

Watch what you say here Christina, or Silver will never be the same!

Mike, she's already been twisted thanks to having me as a mom. She's used to my shenanigans by now!
