Ass-kicking

My own, that is. I'm referring to the class I'm currently taking, English Composition II, which I had no concerns about when I enrolled, but which is now making me want to rip my hair out. In chunks.

Anyway, extremely light to nonexistent blogging for the foreseeable future, and I'm sorry for my girls having to listen to me whine so much. They think it's funny, though, so I guess it's okay!

Christina, if I can help at all, drop me an e-mail (address is in my blog profile) with a contact number, and we can talk. This stuff is my specialty.

Keep at it Christina! Just take it one assignment at a time.

Wow, thanks Peter! I just might take you up on that offer...

DaddyBear, you sound exactly like me when I talk to Silver at semester's end, when she feels totally overwhelmed. :D

Hang in there Christina, it takes a while to get back in the habit of 'proper' English usage... :-)

Old NFO, I can bullshit my way through just about anything, and get a good grade, too. It's the PACE of this class that's kicking my ass, with assignments due every day. Oh, well. I suppose it's good for me. It'll teach me to never take another English class over the summer, though.

You can do it!! Remember to take a break and breathe deeply from time to time... Hang in there, you will get through it, and you'll get an A too!

People who have been schooled in Germany kick ass in college here, dontcha know. IMHO. :)

LOL, Miz Minka! That's because we didn't have multiple-choice exams, it was ALL essay, baby!

I'm just sorry that I've forgotten so much. Five years of Latin, and what do I remember? "Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres..."
That's about it.
My French is a little better.
I believe my so-called "English as a Second Language" class was probably more demanding than any U.S. High School English class!
Well, let the ass-kickery commence! It's my turn to kick this class' ass, dangit! And I will indeed pause to breathe. Once in a while. :)

Writing is my bread and butter. If you need help, let me know.

Christina,

I'll also offer help if you need it. You have my contact information.

During my bachelor degree program, we were writing basically a paper a week so I understand the pace.

You can do it and you'll do well.

Thanks, SCI-FI and Bob, y'all are awesome!
