Is having dirty hair now "in", Ladies? I mean, I understand that it's easier to style your hair when it's NOT freshly washed, but if it's stiff with grease and dirt and product, if I can SMELL it when I'm sitting by your head, and if I feel like I need to shower after giving you a scalp massage, it's a problem of epic proportions, and I don't CARE how fantastic it looks.
Wise up, Women. Wash your fucking hair. At least wash it more than once every two weeks. Thank you.

oh my. I feel for you.
I don't know whether it's "in" now or not, but when we lived in Woodbridge, that seemed to be the preferred style of young (teenage/twenties) Hispanic women.
Thanks, Farmmom!
Mauser*Girl, I had two ladies like this in as many days, and one was a young Hispanic woman. The other lady was white. Thing is, their hair did look wonderful, and they obviously spent money on highlights and a proper cut, but UGH!

It's NEVAH been "in" AFAIK. In these here parts, anyhoo.
Imaging going in to hug the lady or kiss her neck, and you get a whiff of that...how is that attractive? I think part of the problem is that it's hard to smell your own hair or scalp.
That's gross. I would at least wash my hair every other day - that's my absolute minimum. I like my hair to smell good. Now that dirty hair is just EW.
Chaos, it's also possible to wash your hair too frequently, which can lead to damage, especially if it's long hair. If it's short, though...wash away!
ooh, greasy hair is vile. I can't stand the smell of my own hair when it gets dirty. I shudder to think what it would take for me to be innured to the smell of greasy dirt. yuck.
Ew. Just ew...
Phlegmmy, apparently some women have no problem with this!
SCI-FI, yes indeedy. :p
The "no poo" movement? Avoid shampoo due to its harsh and toxic nature. Allow the natural oil to condition your hair much like a baby.
Of course, if you then use styling products which are dust magnets...
Seriously, Sebastian? That's considered a good idea? Blech. Might as well use whale blubber or bear grease as a leave-in conditioner!
I have this comb that's got really wide teeth in it. My hair is down my back, and though it's wavy and there is a lot of it, it is extremely fine in texture. So it snarls like a bitch when it is wet or I've been out in the wind, so I have a comb for both home and travel.
A friend's 9 year old saw the comb laying next to my purse, and said "Dad. why does Brigid have a "FRO comb".
hahaahha
LOL!
I use one of those for initial detangling when my hair is long, but nobody has commented on it!
