By Request...

Phlegmmy and Chuck both requested pics of me in my size twelve jeans, which fit me very well now, thankyouverymuch, and Mauser*Girl asked for before/after pictures. Well, consider these more of "In progress" pictures, since I'm nowhere near my goal. The first pic is from before Christmas, when I was a size 16, the second is from earlier this evening, size 12. I dunno, I really don't see much of a difference! But I certainly feel it, and the size 16 and 14 jeans are back at Goodwill...:)

You look amazing!

You might not be able to see a big difference between the size 16 and the size 12, but it looks like a big difference from where I'm sitting, especially in the behind and thighs.

I've been working on loosing some weight of my own, too. :) I've dropped 8lbs and one dress size since the last week of January (the week I was sick). Hopefully I will be able to keep it going.

Looking awesome! I have taken a break from my walkings since we had those problems... yet I am still dropping weight. Yesterday all I ate was a baked potato.... I just haven't been hungry. You, however, look great!!! Still shopping at Goodwill as you drop down? That sounds like a great idea! Here's to looking good and feeling great!!

M*G, you go, Girl! It's definitely not easy for most people to lose weight. So you piggy-backed continuing weight-loss on some loss from being ill? Brilliant! Whatever it takes, really. Silver linings, and all that...;)

Blondie, not to jump on my soapbox, or anything, but you've GOT to eat! A baked potato a day is not enough sustenance for anyone to live on. You'll end up losing lean muscle mass instead of fat! I know it's hard to force yourself to eat when you're not hungry, but even if it's something small, like a cube of cheese or whatever, it's better than not eating. {/soapbox}
That being said, as long as you do it right, keep up the good work!
Plus, I know you're doing a lot of physical work, so that probably too the place of your walking. Moving, especially, is very physically demanding. Correct? ;)
I'm definitely a Goodwill/Thriftstore girl now. It doesn't make sense for me to buy new, when I "grow out" of stuff so quickly. I've had to buy a few items for job interviews, but that's it.

Oh, and DUH! Thanks to both of you for the compliments! It's early and I just woke up...

Um, it should say "took" up there, not "too". *sigh*

Wow! Even your hair shrunk! ;) Looking good woman!

Don't see much of a difference? Well, I guarantee the guys who visit here do. You've been transformed from "junk in the trunk" to "nice firm caboose." Keep up the good work!

Thank you, Gentlemen!

When you're losing weight, it's hard to let go of the body image you've had for so long, that's probably why it's hard for me to see much of a change.

Buck said...

I agree with Jim: I most definitely notice the change. GOOD on ya, Christina!

Thank you, Buck! :)

If you hadn't told me, I would never guess that those pictures are the same person.

Way to go!

Thank you very much, B.R.! I do have a ways to go yet.

Don't be so modest, LMT. I see a difference! And I think you totally look wonderful.

Thank you, Chaos. You flatter me!

The difference is startling - yes- dramatic! Well done, you!
