It’s simple. Just list all the jobs you’ve had in your life, in order. Don’t bust your brain: no durations or details are necessary, and feel free to omit anything that you feel might tend to incriminate you. I’m just curious. And when you’re done, tag another five bloggers you’re curious about.
My list will be in no way as interesting as his (I *grrrr* at him for not providing more details on some of the more....intriguing jobs he's held) but here ya go:
-Petsitter
-Volunteer at the Tempelhof AB Recreation Center (so I could spend time there and play AD&D, even though I was under age!)
-Airshow announcer
-Babysitter
-Garden worker

You need to explain this one "Hedgehog rehabilitator". WTF?
Hedgehogs are a protected species in Germany. They are excellent pest-controllers in gardens, but they have fairly large territories and are often flattened when they try to cross traffic. My English teacher found a hedgehog with a litter of babies in his garden in the fall, and it was too late in the season for the babies to be able to survive the winter (they were too small, the mom would hibernate and they would die), so he farmed out the kits? puppies? cubs? (no clue what baby hedgehogs are called!) to his students. So I had a hedgehog in my room over the winter. Little fucker kept me awake all night, since they're nocturnal. Finally, I had fattened him up enough that he went into hibernation. The following spring all the babies were released into the wild. It was an interesting experience!
have a merry christmas, cough and all.
Thank you, Breda! Cough syrup is my friend...:)
Merry Christmas to you and Mike!
Thank you for bringing me a smile. . throughout the year. I hope you feel better soon. My best to your family.
Brigid.
Thank you, Brigid! All the best for the holiday and the new year to you and yours as well!
Thanks for the linky lurve, Christina! This, of course, popped RIGHT out at me:
Apprentice Cryptologic Linguist (Korean)
Did you go to Monterrey for linguist school? Or elsewhere? The AFSC for linguists in the waaay-back was 203X0, and I knew a TON of Russian linguists when I was in the spook biz. They were ALL crazy... every danged one of 'em... and the best partying folks I ever knew in the Air Force, bar none.
As for details on my list... all ya gotta do is ask and I (might) would tell ya. Depends on the question, ya know. ;-)
Thanks for playing!
And... lastly (for this comment): MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Merry Christmas, Buck!
Yup, went to DLI at the Presidio of Monterey. That's where I met the Ex. It was one of those techschool things...;)
And all linguists are nuts, that's a given!
Details, details...I'll get back to you on those...:)
Good heavens ... you certainly didn't pass up an opportunity, did you? My kinda gal!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Lin, I have a long way to go.
Merry, merry Christmas!
You worked at a CHOCOLATE FACTORY!?!?!?! WOW!
I sure did...for a week!
Wedding singer...?
Interesting. I bet you were the best wedding singer ever! And you went to Crete? That's very cool!
