My boss took me aside during my break last night to give me a head's up. They'd had a new client with various health issues who booked a 90-minute Deep Tissue massage with another new therapist yesterday, and she HATED her massage.
Rather than send her off unsatisfied, they rebooked her with ME for tomorrow, so she's getting a freebie massage and I'm left to redeem the spa's reputation...
NO PRESSURE, RIGHT?!

You can do eeeet!
In jail, they give you time off for good behavior. At work, they reward you for doing a good job with... more work.
Be prepared for the fact that she might not be satisfied no matter what. As you know, there ARE people like that. The client might still walk away unsatisfied.
But look at the message here: YOU were chosen as the person to 'fix' this problem. That says a lot.
I hope it goes very well.
(I'm developing a rep for this)
What North said!
gfa
Yeah, what North said! You've been there, what, two weeks? And you're the one they picked to try and save a customer. They must be pretty impressed.
Doesn't massage take SOME pressure?
Especially a deep tissue one?
Yeah and what the others said, Do your best, and the chips will fall how they may.
Really the only time you should feel bad on your performance is when you phone it in, or when you bit off more than you can chew.
Boss picked you because you are apparently the rock star.
You're good enough to salvage their rep, and you won't hurt yourself by becoming the 'go to' person! :-)
Wow, keep it up, Guys...and I'll have to find some other way to enter a building, 'cause my head won't fit through the door!
North, I'm prepared for the possibility that she will hate the service, regardless. I'll do my best to ascertain just what it was about her first experience that she hated, and avoid those things at all cost!
Sometimes you just can't win, though.
Hey, better your head not fit through the door than your butt...
You have a point, Sir...:D
