PSA

Some folks around here apparently pronounce "Jeff" as "Jee-iff". Just thought you should know, it might come in handy...

Lord NO LMB!!!!!!! LOL But I prefer "Jee-iff" to "Hefay" for Jeff. You really do drive through a town where I swear they is cornfed and inbred. Just sayin...

You're a Texan now, dammit,so learn the rules:

1. Everything is bigger and better in Texas, including words. If one syllable is good, two works even better. For example, "shit" is a two syllable word in Texas.

2. Diction is for pussies. Everyone knows that words have to lean on each other for support.

3. "Y'all" is singular. "All y'all" is plural.

4. It is perfectly acceptable to make up words. If people get all fershnuckled about it, tell 'em to move back to Yankee country.

WV = "frershis." A Texas word meaning fierce or terrible.

hubby spent a year being called Pablo cos the guys int he office never understood when he said Paul.. not Pay-awlll when we lived in Houston

But then how do they pronounce the brand of peanut butter? Jay-iff?
