If you direct your gaze to the ticker in my sidebar, you'll see that my weight now stands at 159.
The last time I weighed this little was when I got pregnant with my first child...which means I'VE FINALLY LOST THE BABY WEIGHT!!!!
It only took me a little over 18 years...

that's because you spent the weekend learning video poker instead of dining.
Seriously though, you are amazing. I don't have half of the willpower you do in the groceries department. You've worked hard, and long for that goal. Congratulations!
Woo-hoo! Going, going, gone!
Almost done--
Ooooh.... there's hope for me yet, I've got baby weight.. chemo weight and just plain I eat too much chocolate weight....
Bravo to you, I need some of that there will power...
Video poker! Of course...I should have realized, Brigid! ;)
Seriously, though: thank you for your kind words. After a while, you become used to not eating certain foods, that's all. And I tell myself, while looking at a particularly luscious dessert: It's just not worth it.
I've worked too hard to put something in my body that I don't need. Even if it tastes good.
SCI-FI, thank you. These last few pounds sure are stubborn, though!
Noonie, you can do it, one way or the other. Remember, too, that I had gastric banding last November, so I do have a tool assisting me.
Well, I must say that you've transformed yourself into quite a beautiful woman. Kindly, if not irreverently referred to in most circles of men as a smokin' hot milf.
I now have to ask why you're still single? Picky?
Dick, my priorities have always been my kids, my job, my education. That really hasn't changed. AND I'm picky! :-D
And thank you for the MILF thing!
Nothing I can't say that the others haven't - but very well done miss, and something to be proud of!
"...irreverently referred to in most circles of men as a smokin' hot milf."
In most circles, but not here, cuz we're too classy to say such a thing.
(mumbling quietly: "But we can think it ... cuz nobody can read thoughts, after all...")
:D
Congrats Christina!!!
I'm very happy for you, Mom. It's been almost unreal, seeing you slim down like that.
...you realize that I've NEVER seen you that thin before, right? Like, not even when I was a baby? Are you sure that I'll recognize you when I arrive in December? ;)
Thank you, Sean. It's been quite the journey so far, and I'm not through yet! Losing the weight is only part of the battle, then I have to keep it off...
SCI-FI, you *are* a classy dude! ;)
Thank you, Jay. Coming from a victor of the battle of the bulge, that means a lot to me!
Silver, you'll recognize me...I'm not so sure about your sisters next summer!
Excellent!
You're an inspiration.
Seriously.
Awwww...thanks, Roismhaire! You're an inspiration to ME, on the massage front!
It only took me a little over 18 years...
Ahem. "Better late..." I know a couple of women who are going on 45 years without losing the "baby" weight. Well, one, anyway.
CONGRATS!
Thanks, Buck!!
woo hoo ... well done !!!!!!!
Thank you, Julie! :)
