You are in nursing school. Why would you even contemplate giving up caffeine? Beer may be God's way of telling us he loves us and wants us to be happy, but Caffeine is His way of saying "get your lazy butt up and get going, here's help." (You do know it comes in IV form, right?) And old RN
I'm willing to bet that you've cut back a bit, anyway, right? I know that, on those rare occasions when I try to quit smoking, I smoke less than usual when I start up again. So, there's that (maybe?)
I'm trying to limit myself to one decaffeinated beverage a day, but it's tough. And I can almost guarantee that once school starts, all my good intentions will go out the window!

What Sacrilege is this? Quitting Caffeine? Heresy!!! Where is the stake and the torches? Grab some rope!!
Seriously, I know it's hard (says a Diet Coke Addict) But if you wish to do it, try switching to a decaf version of what you normally drink.
"I wish I knew how to quit you"
I must agree, it's too addictive.
I was gonna join Caffeine Anonymous, but I was shaking too badly...
:- )
My weakness is Coke Zero, or failing that, Diet Coke.
Funny, Zero actually has less caffeine that DC, but tastes better...
I'm non-functional without my coffee... sigh
They say coffee makes you live longer. Just saying.
