Ouch...

In the past few weeks, two therapists have been fired from my work. One for challenging our (tiny, pregnant) manager to a round of fisticuffs ("You wanna take this outside, huh? HUH?"). The other was texting on her iPhone. While she was giving a massage.

The stupid, it BURNS.

Sometimes I think that cell phones have made fools of us all...

I'm trying to imagine what in the world the manager said to get an invitation outside. Then again, there are two bullies at my job that I would love to meet outside.

'Drea, trust me...in this case the therapist was at fault. The truly mild-mannered manager had received a complaint from a client, and the therapist didn't want to discuss it in a calm manner.

Massaging and texting simultaneously? I can barely walk and chew gum. Which is probably why I don't chew gum.

Lissa, the therapist tried to tell the manager that she had been checking the time on her phone (disregarding the fact that there is a clock in each room, and that technically, we're not supposed to even have a phone ON us while giving a massage), but the client said the therapist was mostly massaging with one hand, and that she repeatedly saw the light from the therapist's phone flicker. *sigh*

If I had a therapist texting while giving me a massage, I would have to work up a really loud fart. And hopefully, a smelly one.
