Overheard at the Spa...

Overly loud, obnoxious client, who's possibly drunk: "Yeah, I got lower back pain and pain in my butt-tocks...so don't be afraid to touch me there!"

Me, thinking: "Don't worry, Buster. Your ass doesn't scare me!"

I always wonder if each masseuse/masseur has their own "demilitarized zone" that they won't cross into, or if there is some sort of general guide. Seems all stop at about the same area on me, but I didn't know if there was a guidebook or something you get at school...

"Seems all stop at about the same area on me..." For me they stop at the door.

LOL- He is just a BIGGER ass than you normally work on, right? :-)

You are all assuming a lot. *ahem*

I'm amazed at some therapists.
I was taught that the glutes are some of the most important muscles to work on thoroughly, and I have absolutely no issues doing so. On the contrary, it irks me when clients keep their underwear on, preventing me from massaging their butts. But really, telling me not to be scared? Pish. AND he kept making supremely unfunny jokes. AND he reeked of cigarettes and booze. Meh. At least he was a good tipper!
