Poor K.!

Not only did his deep tissue client fart on him twice while his face was in close proximity to her exhaust pipe (he was bent over, massaging her hamstrings), but she only tipped him four bucks!

Talk about adding insult to injury...

$4? Where do these people learn their manners. I always tip a minimum of $20, more if it's a really good massage, and that is flatuance free.

A question, (I won't tip but I'll make you Guinness brownies next time I see you). I had ortho knee surgery three weeks ago to remove part of the miniscus. Is it safe to get a massage including the bad knee and leg (I'm walking and doing 30 minutes of PT exercises daily).

Clearly he should have massaged more lightly. That way, the massage would have been ef-fart-less . . .

:-p

Brigid, absolutely get a massage. I wouldn't let the therapist go crazy with stretches or anything (you go to PT for that!), but it will help the healing process and make you more flexible. Enjoy!

Peter...your puns are almost as bad as a fart to the face...ALMOST. :D

Sometimes, I don't know why you massage therapist do what you do.

I'm glad but...

What's the proper tip for a massage? Do you figure a percentage of the bill, or just pay a flat number?

Anon., a percentage is perfect. Whatever you would tip at a restaurant is appropriate, depending on whether or not you enjoyed the service, of course.
