Gentlemen, really...

Shaving your forearms? Why?!

Polka-dot boxer shorts receive my nod of approval, however. Just don't wear 'em when I'm massaging you. Kthnx.

  1. What IS appropriate attire for a massage? Towel?

  2. Nuthin'. I take care of the draping (a sheet, usually). HOWEVER...some therapists request/require that underoos be worn, so it's a good idea to clarify prior to the massage.

  3. I shave part of my arms, under where my watch rides, to prevent hair pulling. I'm a hairy dude like that.

    I don't own any polka-dot drawers, though.

  4. Lokidude, but do you MAINTAIN it? The gentleman I massaged earlier had stubble covering both his forearms. Painful to massage. I'd rather deal with hair.

  5. Ewwwwww...gonna start it? Keep it up...get a wax job man! Hell, men are never shy about pointing out when we don't shave our legs!

  7. I made the mistake of letting a woman shave my groin once.

It looked so afflicted that my only recourse was to go the totally hairless route until it grew back out.

  8. Shannon, precisely! The really odd thing was that his forearms were the only body parts shaved (to my knowledge!).

AD, I know the feeling, unfortunately. I can't shave certain, *ahem*, AREAS of my anatomy...I can only wax them. Otherwise I'd appear diseased...

  9. I recently had to start using NAIR on my 11 y/o daughter's arms and legs. The other children were making fun of her. A side effect of the diabetes was having overly aggressive hair growth. It was cute when she was little, but now that she's at the age where the other kids can be cruel to her, I've had to be pro active.

Still creepy if a grown male does it though...

  10. I'm sorry to hear your daughter had to go through that kind of teasing. Kids can be SO mean!
I dunno about creepy. If a man doesn't like his body hair, who am I to say "Don't get rid of it"? I just don't like massaging stubble, 'cause it HURTS.

  11. Sounds like somebody was way too "metrosexual"...

  12. Old NFO, I really don't think so. Like I said before, it was JUST his forearms. Maybe he does it for work, or something. Other than that, he looked like the average Texan-American. ;)

  13. (Checks self)
    Yup: Forearms still fuzzy.

    (Checks self again)
Nope, no polka-dot boxers. Tighty-whiteys OK?

  14. Kinda funny, this. I mention the possibility of shaving my arms in my recent posts (more so the second-to-last than the last.) Never thought it was something anyone would do voluntarily.

  15. I used to shave hair off my forearms with knives at gun shows. Just to show how sharp the blades are. I was thinking of getting a Celtic Cross tattoo to honor my deceased love. That would require shaving the forearm...

  16. Maybe his girlfriend has a forearm fetish and like em' bald & smooth.

C'mon, tell me what you REALLY think...
