Just received my THEA Math test scores, which are needed by the Nearby Community College before they can finish processing my application: I PASSED!
In your FACE, Nearby CC!
I will be needing NO remedial math classes, instead I can knock out my one math prerequisite for applying to nursing school.
I'm SO happy right now! :D
Congratulations, that's awesome!!! :) Are you going to be able to knock out the math requirement over the summer? I'm going to torture myself with core biology during the oh-so-short six-week summer session, meh. :P
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ma'am!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I will do the math this summer, Miz Minka. I'll do the "easy" stuff, like Developmental Psychology and English Composition II.
In the fall I'll take A&P I, Microbiology, and Statistics (the math I need), and in the spring I'll take A&P II, then I can apply for nursing school!
I'm so freaking EXCITED!
Luckily, I knocked out a ton of the required prereqs in Las Vegas, and most of them transferred with full credit. *whew*
Oh, and I'm also going to (hopefully) test out of the required computer class next week. Must. Study.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Robert!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Christina!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteExcellent news! Congratulations! How cool to be a massage therapist BEFORE becoming a nurse too...to go in knowing what you have learned about people and what they need through direct physical contact...you'll make a brilliant nurse!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Old NFO!
ReplyDeleteShannon, thank you so much! Beyond the physical aspects of it, and knowing what I know about human nature, the anatomy I had to learn for massage school will certainly help me in my A&P classes this time around! It also doesn't hurt that I was a CNA and a medical assistant prior to becoming a massage therapist. ;)
Congrats Lady! You are one smart cookie. :)
ReplyDeleteOh man, you've got the complete package - you go woman!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Farmmom! Mmmm, cookies...;)
ReplyDeleteShannon, thank you again. :)
Cool! One less requirement is always a Good Thing.
ReplyDeletere: I will be needing NO remedial math classes...
I should take a couple as I'm seriously math challenged. As an example, my checkbook hasn't been balanced since the maid quit (she was also my accountant). Not that I haven't tried in the last 11 years or so... it just never worked out. So I quit trying. So far so good.
LOL, Buck!
ReplyDeleteI haven't even kept a check register since I started online banking. I'm fine with basic math up to algebra, I LOVE algebra, but geometry? FORGET IT!
It's great that you haven't had any oops moments. Because those are also NOT GOOD.
