Things I noticed on my drive into town today, by way of Snowmageddon...

First, a big, ole roadrunner in the middle of the road. He skedaddled quickly at my approach.

Then I saw a large outbuilding, whose corrugated tin roof had completely collapsed due to the weight of the snow.

Lastly, I saw a lucky kid, belly-down on a sled, being towed behind a tractor. Man, I only got to slide down hills when I was little!

Also, it's hysterically funny to observe my dogs bounding through belly-deep snow. I larfed and larfed.

  1. At least you found 'some' humor in it!

  2. Oh, man -- sledding, especially downhill and through large painful boulders, is a treat everyone should have, even as an adult. To wit, JayG and I went sledding -as adults- and had a blast. As soon as I was off the painkillers, I could laugh heartily about it.

  3. Old NFO, it sure beats crying. :)

SCI-FI, I've always loved sledding, especially since my skiing skills are much worse than mediocre. So bring on the hills! I have Extra-strength Tylenol...

  4. That is so CUTE!!! :D :D :D

We don't really have *real* snow here. We have rain, and then snow, and then rain, and then just clouds, and other unpredictable weather.

  6. Do you think you might get an increase in business from folks having extra aches and pains from using muscles they don't usually use via shoveling?:-)

  7. Suldog, I've not noticed any increase. Probably because people don't OWN shovels here. We just let it all melt.
