Bring it.

Paid my lawyer her retainer today (and thank you again, all you wonderful people who helped me, I cherish you!) and signed the contract.

You assholes wanna play hardball with me? Bring it. My lawyer has teeth, and isn't afraid to use them.

    I'm so sorry you have to deal with all of that - what an awful situation to be in. But I hope that your lawyer will work out great and get this all resolved!

    Thanks, SCI-FI and Mauser*Girl! I'm glad that everyone is supporting me, sometimes I feel like this is all a bad dream. Maybe I'll wake up soon and everything will work out well.

    Sean, oh my goodness, I HOPE it doesn't take that long to resolve! She did tell me that the amount is small enough that it would go to arbitration, not court, if it's not settled.
