Affectionate Nickname?

Well, I guess I'll have to rename Harley, my younger puppy.
I hereby christen him "Cocksucker".

He's the cutest little thing, with big, dark-brown, proverbial puppy-dog eyes, but after seeing him up close, going to town on his big brother's schlong, I won't let him lick my mouth anymore!

The funny thing is, they are both neutered, so what's the point?

Does Harley mistake Tucker's sheath for a teat on mommy's belly?
Does it just taste good?
Who knows?

There is no doubt that Tucker enjoys it, 'cause his hips are a-thrusting the whole time.

Ewwwww.

I could have happily lived my whole life without seeing that, even though it did crack my daughter and me up for at least five minutes. Not to mention the enjoyment of talking baby-talk to the pup, calling him "Cocksucker" the whole time!

Priceless!

Anyway, enquiring minds want to know: should I always put a stop to this behavior when I see it, or is it harmless?

Any info appreciated!

*LOL*

I wouldn't be particularly worried about this unless it's bothering your other dog.

A lot of puppies go through a stage where they lick their own genitals (purely for the enjoyment of licking them, not to clean them), or start rubbing their penis on things because it feels good. Some may lick other dogs, too - I guess that's kind of the male puppy alternative of female dogs humping each other, or a female dog humping a male dog (yes, they do).

Unless you're bothered by it, or your dog is bothered by it, I would just leave it alone. If you don't want it to happen, correct the puppy for doing it.

I'm just imagining what kind of tv show I could send a tape of that to...nobody!
It's definitely funny, yet also perverted!
I guess I'll leave them alone, though I know my daughter will stop them because she says it's "gross".

If your daughter is going to stop them (tell them to knock it off or redirect to something appropriate), my advice would be that you stop it as well. That way the little one doesn't get mixed signals regarding what is and isn't good behavior.

It has to be baffling to watch and mighty entertaining, but just like bad kid behavior, you can be assured your trusty canines will whip out the floor show at the worst possible moment. Like you, I'd laugh my ass off at that, but mg is probably right, that it's best to nip it in the bud. (couldn't resist) Get a good video tape of it, though. That way, when he's an teenager cocksucker by showing it to future girlfriends. *tee hee*

They seem to have slacked off (thankfully!), and now they just hump each other a lot while they are play/fighting.
I know this is more about dominance, so it's not quite as disturbing as the XXX stuff they were doing before.

Thanks for all the advice, you two!
