Silver decided to update her website...

...and the donation link got broken.

If you're still inclined to donate, and don't have an aversion to Paypal (which, if you're a gunnie, is completely understandable, btw.), direct your gaze to the right of your screen and you'll find a "Donate to Silver" button at the top of my sidebar.

Thank you all again.

UPDATE:
Link is broken, from the Paypal end of things. Her email address is now listed in place of the button. Sorry about the confusion.

How much more does she need? Is she still at $1175 raised?

I'm taking September off from my own woes to help both KTKC and other worthy causes, and I was in this situation, once, so I want to help, if I can.

Also, your PayPal link isn't working...

Thank you, Squeaky. She's about $1500 away from the original total, but the university just tacked on another $500, for late fees and the two weeks of THIS semester she's been in the dorms. It's so frustrating. She's basically going to have to take this semester off and work to pay it, so that she can take classes again in the spring semester. Though probably NOT at UND!

First, addendum to the PayPal thing - you have to already be logged in to your account to make the donation. Not sure how that code happened, but that's the issue, and may be the issue on her link, as well.

I wouldn't want to stick with that university, either, seeing how they treated her. I've been in the "job? hey...job? job? come ON, i've been waiting all summer!" position before, and eff that.

Is she working at the university right now? Or will they not let her since she's not a student?

Squeaky, because the job is funded by a grant, she can't get it unless she's a student. And she can't enroll in classes because of the hold on her account due to unpaid charges. Typical university bullshit.

I may have a plan, but it would depend on several factors, and I have to make sure of them, first.
