Who edits these things?

I just received my mental health nursing clinical placement form, which I need to fill out and return to my school as soon as possible.

Here are the errors I found on the form:
fACULTY (minor, I know, but I'm nitpicky ;).)
DISPBUSMENT (I have no idea what this is supposed to be, disbursement maybe? Is it an acronym?)
A run-on sentence:
The following information is required in order to submit your fingerprints which will be taken by human resources as part of processing your appointment or in connection with the reinvestigation required due to the risk level associate (sic) with your position.
FOLLWINTG (following)
WIEGHT (weight)

I dunno, maybe I'm being too harsh. But this IS an official form and the errors (which not only display an underlying laziness and lack of concern, but could also easily be corrected) piss me off.

Somebody is not doing his/her job. Yet getting paid for it.

Fuckers.

You're a woman after my own heart, Christina. Errors like this show inattention to detail, which, in turn, does NOT speak highly for the institution. Go get 'em!

Spellcheck + retard office staff = illiterate retard office staff.

You could push for docking their pay for typos, and they'd become some spelling-bee winning wonders, but the Clipboard Weenie Anti-Defamation Society would throw a hissy fit.

Have fun with this instead. Allege that using race (misspelled WIEGHT for WHITE) is actually a hidden manifestation of racial bias (That's Racisssssssss!"), and file a complaint. Then sit back and watch the mad scramble to investigate, complete with headless chickens on crack tracking down the leads.

If you can't entertain yourself with a bureaucracy, what good is it?

I would comment, but you would think that I am,

1) Crazy.

2) Racist.

I'm neither, but the world certainly seems to be both.

Only not in the way the that conventional thinking would have us believe.
