Ch-Ch-Changes...

A week from today, the twins and I will be on the road.

What was planned to be a lengthy vacation has morphed into a one-way move.

While Texas has been very good to me, it's time for a major change. I will be moving to New England and going to school full-time, working on my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, instead of just my ADN. Since I already have so many credits, I can have my BSN in 2.5 years. In that case, why go to school for 2 years for an ADN, right?

I will be staying with dear friends who will let me pay rent in massages, and I won't be so lonely any more. Win-win!

Wish me luck, especially on the road trip. Tiny car, two non-driving teenagers, two dogs, and two cats=recipe for potential disaster!

:D

I wish you luck on that road trip--you're braver than I!

As a native New Englander, I hope you'll enjoy your time in our little corner of the world!

And TX will always be here when you decide to come back.

While I wish you luck as you depart for more liberal pastures, I do have to ask: you do know Texas has good nursing schools, right?

If you travel through Nashville, don't forget to get in touch and arrange for at least a wave and a hug in passing!

Congrats Christina! I hope you're ready for snow!

If you're going to be anywhere near northern DE I'd be happy to take you to lunch at the brewery.

Thanks, Everyone!

It's great to know you support me. :)

Yes, I know there are many excellent nursing schools in Texas, that's one reason I moved to my current home. But there are more reasons I'm moving than just school, trust me.

Christina,

Congrats on the move and the changes in collegiate plans. I know God has plans to prosper you and I'm sure this is part of it.

Please know that if you ever need it, you'll have a place to stay in the DFW area.

SWLMMHCEM would echo my sentiments and more. You'll be welcome anytime.

Well, shoot, if I knew you were willing to trade massages for rent, I'd have let you stay at my place! As a matter of fact, if you find yourself kicked out of where you're going now, talk to me. I'll have to hide you in the cellar while MY WIFE is home. Even though you're a professional, she does not take kindly to other women touching me. Is that OK?

Christina RN LMT said...

Jim, no hiding. Just have her in the room while I'm giving the massage. I do that all the time with private clients! :)
