Aquarius Tavern. Seattle. 1976 My Aunt and Uncle lived in Seattle. Underage redhead and friends sneaking in. Heart was playing. What can I say.

Oh, and I was 9 years old. . really, NOT 17. Because otherwise I'd be fifty mumble mumble. . . .

Ann and Nancy are still rocking! So now you have sent me to the turntable to find something a bit obscure from them! Damn you! It's been a long day!

Back in the day a Lady I fancied was all about Heart. That is what started it. I was driving a 1971 Mustang then.

Whattya think? Held up OK over the years? /heh yeah, ya think...

Last HS dance they played was down the road from Seattle at my small town high school ('72 I think). I remember seeing a letter to that effect on the wall the Principle's office later in the 70's when they hit it big. That was a big deal in our little school -- try to understand. :-)

Don't ask me what I was doing in the Principle's office...

Listening to them now...

Did we have any idea how good they were/how good we had it? No wonder my kids all want to listen to our generation's music.

I'd never heard of Heart until I read this post.

Checking back in to say I've still got a nice buzz from listening to these two tracks. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Did we have any idea how good we had it in '76?

What a year for albums: Rocks, Boston (1st album), Night Moves, One more for the Road, Blow your face out, Fly like an Eagle, Primal Scream... Just for starters
