Snowmageddon...

North Texas version.

They closed the spa early because the roads are a mess and only looking to get worse as the temperatures drop, so I headed home (VERY carefully) and whipped out my camera as the dogs non-frolicked in the snow.

Time for me to hunker down and snuggle in. Lunch, then a hot bath, followed by a nap. Sounds like the recipe for a fine, fine afternoon!

glad you made it home safe...

will people be trapped for days in the fear of snow ??

i know how stupid people can be up in MA where we get snow on almost a weekly basis this year...

i can only imagine the stupidity of those who don't deal with it regularly

Great ride. I felt like Mission Control:

"Tin Can downrange 10 nautical miles..."

"Um, I'm doing 20 miles an hour...."

"Acknowledged, Tin Can... ETA to homebase is.... umm.... six hours....?"

"*Sigh*..."

Well, dang, that means we might actually get some this round. But I still doubt it.

Good to hear you survived the snowmageddon unscathed, though!

We are still waiting on "MEGADEATH WINTER BLAST '11!" here. Of course the stores are out of bread and milk. Sigh. I hope I get to sit at home in the winter wonderland but I will not know until tomorrow.

Your plan is sound! I hope you enjoyed it!

I had a wonderful time Sunday afternoon, and since then have been holed up in my cave, watching "Avatar: The Last Airbender" on my computer. What a great show that is!
Tomorrow, it's back to reality. Lots of errands to run and chores to accomplish.
