*sigh*

I'm sure I'll tarnish my halo in your eyes, Faithful Readers, but I just had to mention this...it's incredibly sad and fucked up to see horrendously ugly identical twins.

It's unfair of me to say it, you can't help what you look like (to a huge degree, anyway), and it shouldn't make any difference at all, but when you see an ugly person (and I mean REALLY ugly), then BOOM, another person who looks *exactly* like that ugly person walking right behind him/her, something in your brain malfunctions until all you can do is continuously whimper, "Mommy, make it stop!"

Just thought I'd share this observation.

When I taught at the jr high in Taos, NM, there was this kid who seemed to be everywhere and always in trouble. It took me a while, but I realized that there was triplets! Then there was a set of twins who were both in special ed classes, both looked like Neanderthal men (yep they were shaving in jr high) and yet the little girls all thought they were hunks. I worried about future generations.

Hah! Triple vision...

As a mother of identical twin daughters, I actually thought about this when they were little. Luckily, my girls are gorgeous! (Biased? Who, me?) ;)

I speak for all ugly people when I say being ugly is no fun.

If you take the time to look around any really crowded place you'll see all kinds of ugly people (and by that I mean horribly ugly) We just tend to naturally notice the good looking ones.

Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder. Their momma loves them.

Maybe.

Not everybody can be 'physically' beautiful... Hopefully these two have good personalities...

Mike, you consider yourself ugly? I've seen pics, and I'd disagree!

And yes, beauty is most definitely subjective.

Tally, you KNOW you're gorgeous, I've said it many times, so you know it must be true! ;)

Old NFO, I sure hope so.

We're talking people here.(sigh of relief).

For a second I thought it was another massage therapist discussion of various bits and pieces of the human anatomy. ;^)
