So, this one time, on a podcast...

This is going to be rather tricky. I took part in a podcast, but I don't wish my younger children to listen to it. Hmmmm. (No offense, Tally and Chaos, but I KNOW you. If I tell you "Don't go there, don't read this, don't watch that, and don't listen to this!", it's like waving a red flag in front of a bull.)

So, for anyone who doesn't already know which podcast I'm talking about, and is interested in listening to a bunch of crazy people riffing on a variety of subjects for an hour, not to mention yours truly screaming in horror and being traumatized for life, send me an email at lucrativepain@yahoo.com, and I'll email you the link.

Hopefully this will stymie my inquisitive youngsters!

Oh, and please don't be assholes and leave the link (or even the NAME of the podcast) in the comments, because my kids are diabolically clever and will latch onto that in an instant. Thank you.

Unfair. I'm going to be a Sophomore next year and you're calling me young? Please send me the link!

I assume you're Christina's child; forgive me if you're not. But (forgive me once again)... you ARE young. Mom knows best.

Honey, you're fifteen! Do you know what your father and stepmother would (rightfully) do to me if I let you listen?!

Buck, thanks for the support. She (and her twin) are WAAAAAY too young to listen/watch/whatever.

Christina - listened to the podcast and happened to google a certain thing and now I'm scarred for life!

I WARNED you!!

C'mon! I'll be turning 16 this year! I've probably seen much worse.

Also, when Silver was our age, you treated her like an adult and she is a bigger drama queen than us! Besides, we watch South Park on a daily basis, we've seen the movies Eurotrip and Borat, I've seen American Pie (when I was in fourth grade I might add), and Lexy has seen Superbad (I didn't because I didn't want to.)

So there.

It's annoying that you treat us like babies. Everyone does!

We also play Saints Row 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV.

Oh, and this is supposed to impress me?! Trust me, the thing I don't want you to see is infinitely worse than anything you've seen or heard. And I never treated Silver any differently than you guys. Plus, if I tell her "You really don't want to watch this, TRUST ME!" SHE LISTENS!!!

I'm not treating you two like babies, I'm treating you like my teenage daughters whom I'm trying to shelter at least a little before they venture out into reality. Okay? THAT'S MY JOB.
