Aprox. $200 later...

Tucker is home and WELL! Woo-HOO!!!

I'm so happy! :)

Not so happy about the bill, but that's what happens when they end up having to pull two teeth. *sigh* His upper pre-molars were exposed to the root, so they had to go. Now he's drugged to the gills, and I have seven days of antibiotics and two different painkillers to administer. Not to mention making sure he only eats the soft foods I have to give him and none of the kibble I give Harley. Oh, and preventing Harley from eating the soft foods!

He looks so miserable right now, but at least he's tucked into bed, not in a cage at the vet's.

Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers, I'm sure they helped.

So, would it be tacky and unconscionable of me to put up a donation button? I've asked various people and gotten different answers from all. What do you think?

Oh, and he's drooling bloody saliva onto my pillow...*sigh*.

Good to hear that the canine is on the road to recovery.

Concerning donations, I would have no problem putting up a button, except I have about 3.7 readers a week!

Instead I advertise with Project Wonderful who make my blog more colorful and dynamic. Probably.

Anyway, thought I'd give you my tuppence worth. Have fun at WSOP!

Thanks for your good wishes and input, Jumblerant. Tuppence are always appreciated.

Glad to hear all went well!

I seriously doubt that any of your readers would find it either tacky on unconscionable. And if any of them did, I'm sure they'd get over themselves soon enough.

What Buckskins said.

I'm glad Tucker made it through! (and sorry about the bloody saliva. I have some direct experience in that space.)

Well, THANKS, you two "Buck"-aroos!
:)

Tucker's much better today, not quite as loopy as yesterday. And after MUCH trial and error, I finally got him to take his medicine this evening, even though this morning's dose was a write-off.

Now I just have to figure out how to put that "Donate Here" button up...

I'll just give you the reason why I don't have a donate button on my blog. I don't write well enough or about anything worthwhile enough to warrant donations. There was a time I was seriously considering it, back when I had a lot of readers, and Jethro was in school and we had no money, but it felt like asking for charity.

I don't have any problem with anyone else doing it, and you do have an interesting profession that you write about, but those are my personal reasons.

Zelda, I've thought the same thing, many times. Which is why I'm still hesitating to put up a button.

Believe me, I understand the desire, and I think you have more to offer than I did in the way of info-tainment.
