Quit doin' that!

Had ANOTHER side-by-side massage with B. today. Our clients were two young ladies receiving massages for the first time. Of course they kept their *expletive deleted* underwear on, even after it was explained to them how that would affect the massage.

Whatever, I thought.

But after I had flipped my lady over to work on the front of her body, I noticed that every time I happened to glance at her face, she was staring at me.

Staring.

Staring.

I was totally creeped out. I tried not to let it bother me, and failed miserably.

The worst was when I was working on her head and neck, because I was sitting about six inches away from her face.

I finally just closed my eyes, since I can literally do that part of the massage blind-folded.

Turns out B.'s client was doing the same to her!

They were really good tippers, so I'll try not to think too badly of them...even though they're WEIRD!!!

You know, it's gotta be hard for a lot of people to see what you guys do as therapeutic and not sexual. I, personally, would NEVER stare at you while you worked on me. Never. I'd probably just moan a lot and eventually need to take a nap.

I'm thinking a trip to Vegas and a massage might cure me.

FHB, it's a good thing, too, because I wouldn't want to think YOU'RE weird, right? ;)
Some people just don't get touched enough, frankly. Then they associate any touch with sexuality.
It's not so, people! I can say with complete honesty that I've never been turned on during a massage, either giving or receiving one. It's just not like that. If I were in a relationship with someone, we'd have to keep massage and sex totally separate, too. One of my teachers even stressed to never, EVER have sex on your massage table, ever! Messes with the energy, or something...

Trashman...don't do it! Getting a massage is the worst thing you can do when you're sick, drunk/on drugs, or hungover. Big, big mistake, and we see it all the time. We're in Vegas, duh! People have passed out, puked, gone a leetle crazy, etc.
If you have acute cold/flu symptoms, massage will only make them worse. There is some anecdotal evidence that indicates your illness might pass more quickly, but I think that's crap.

Massage moves a lot of fluids in your body, especially lymph, and your lymphatic system is already working overtime when you're sick. Massage also releases built-up toxins from your muscles and connective tissue, which also need the lymphatic system to process them. So, very bad idea to receive massage when ill.

Have I bored you enough?!
Sorry. I could go on forever, but I'll be merciful, instead.

You'll hate me by the time you're done.

All finished, and I don't hate you, how could I?

You've provided me with hours of free entertainment...well, I did lose some sleep, but that's what naps are for.

You should've totally just stared back. Like creepy staring.

No way! I'd probably have started laughing, and that's not very professional...;)
